Winter Solstice 2023
I’ve been fortunate to visit my niece and her family back East the last two Octobers. Being with loved ones and experiencing this season has been wonderful, and it’s given me the chance to photograph autumn foliage (something I miss living in the desert).
I want to share the collection I’ve gathered. They’re so representative of what I’m drawn to in my art practice - the ephemeral moment, the hope we can take from change, and the promise of new growth. It all seems so perfect for this time of year.
I’m wishing you a wondrous season, blissful rest in the longest night of the year, meaningful holidays celebrating light, and the energy to create more peace and beauty in 2024.
