The Oasis

So happy to have this image in the online exhibition “Botanicals” via A Smith Gallery in Johnson City Texas. Juror Wendi Schneider selected it as one of 55 images from a pool of 1002 images submitted for consideration.

“The Oasis” is one of my favorite photographs this year. I took it in Washington state on a trip with my dear friend and fellow photographer Nancy Miiller. It was our last day out with our cameras, and the rain just kept coming. And we just kept shooting!
