Night Vision Exhibition

So happy to share that "Shadow Dreams" is one of two of my gold leaf images selected as part of the Night Vision exhibition at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. The piece is a little different from my other gilded photos. It is two separate images, both printed on translucent vellum paper, that are layered atop each other. I applied 24 kt. gold leaf to the front of the top image. I love the effect of depth that the shadows of the image in back create and that foggy, dreamlike atmosphere.

I owe a big thank you to the Phoenix Airport Museum; Gary Martelli, Program Manager/Curator; and Haley Hinds, Associate Curator. Congratulations to all the Arizona artists. The work will be exhibited at Terminal 4, Level 3 near the food court center from November 25, 2023 through June 23, 2024. If you’re traveling through Phoenix, I hope you have a chance to view “Shadow Dreams”. Congratulations to all the Arizona artists that are part of the Nigh Vision exhibition! The work will be wonderful.
